Flashpoint 1 – Assault the Forge *
Following the establishment of a traitor beachhead a push towards loyalist forges has begun.
Traitor mechanicus uprisings spurred on by the schism of Mars has resulted in resource grabs across the sector with infighting and civil war decimates loyalist holdings.
The final majoris forges must be held to secure resources needed for the war effort and supply forces on Terra.
The avatars of war, the legions and households walk on both sides, there is no place for neutrality
MISSION SPECIFICS
In this Mission, the Attacker is attempting to gain a foothold in the Defender’s city. The Defender must deploy
their Detachments within the Defender’s deployment zone (with the exception of any in Reserves). The Attacker
must then deploy their Detachments within the Attacker’s deployment zone.
Instead of determining Secondary Objectives as normal:
- Attacker(s) – Plant the Standard
- Defender(s) – Control the Battlefield
Traitors will be playing as the attackers in this scenario, Loyalists will be the defenders.
CAMPAIGN SPECIFIC LIMITS
- No Titans larger than warlord
- No more than 10 activations per player. Spare activations may be traded between players on the same side.
- All formations are valid
- Legion/formation traits are in now in effect
- Game Size:
- 3v3 game: 1250 points per player
- 2v2 game: 1500 points per player
- 1v1 game: 1750 points per player
KEY LOCATIONS
Instead of regular Objective Markers, there are three specific Objective Locations within the Defender’s deployment zone.
City Outskirts: An area of the battlefield representing the edge of the city, 3″ in width and running from long table edge to long table edge.
The Plaza: A 5″x5″ area on the battlefield that is clear of all Structures and may include a minimal amount of other areas of terrain.
Command Centre: A Structure that must cover an area of at least 3″x3″. The Command Centre cannot be destroyed.
The Plaza and the Command Centre are deployed by the Campaign Master before any other terrain is deployed. They must be at least 6″ away from any battlefield edge and at least 15″ away from one another.

SCORING
At the end of the battle, players must determine who controls which Objective. You score:
- 6 VPs if you control the City Outskirts.
You control the City Outskirts if the total Tactical Strength of your models within it is two or more times greater than the total Tactical Strength of your opponent’s models within the City Outskirts. - 10 VPs if you control the Plaza.
You control the Plaza if the total Tactical Strength of your models within it is two or more times greater than the total Tactical Strength of your opponent’s models within the Plaza. - 15 VPs if you control the Command Centre.
The Stakes
The faction winner will receive an additional boon for their faction that must be used in the first game of cycle 2. This boon is rolled for at the start of the first game of the next cycle.
Each participating table will offer up a boon.
